In most jurisdictions, these products are classified as prohibited or controlled weapons, meaning they cannot be sold, purchased, or possessed without proper authority, licence, or exemption.
Because classifications differ between states and territories, some items may be considered restricted or controlled weapons in certain regions and require strict identification or licensing before purchase.

In accordance with Australian law Tacsource will only supply batons, handcuffs, training guns, and body armour only to authorised departments and licensed industry professionals, eg Security Officers, Government Departments, Law Enforcement Officers, Corrections Officers, Defence Personnel, Local Laws Officers.
All customers purchasing prohibited, controlled, or restricted items must provide valid identification and/or supporting documentation before an order can be approved.
If certification cannot be provided within a reasonable timeframe, the order will be refunded; however, shipping costs will not be refunded.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Damages and issues
In the unlikely event that the product(s) you have ordered are damaged or faulty, Tac Source will work with you to resolve the issue as manufacturers offer different warranty periods. We will not replace or refund an item that is damaged through incorrect use.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned. (such as custom products, special orders or personalized items). Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at support@tacsource.com.au.
Please note we do not refund shipping fees.
Shipping
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item, unless your item is a manufacturers warranty. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
We recommend sending return via a registered parcel service as Tac Source is not liable/does not accept liability for lost parcels.
If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
